Great and CHEAP. 🍜 Only stopped in because it was close to where I was anyways, but it was really, quite good and amazing value. Everyone will have their own takes on what constitutes a good bowl. I have a cold and wanted good broth and this was that, so I’m happy. 🍜 People rave about places like Saimi in Sapporo and I’m a fan of their approach. One of my go to spots near home is Iori in Chitose. The chef there apprenticed at Saimi. Now, I have no idea if this places has any connection, but the vibe is definitely there. 🍜 Basically we were picking up a snowboard from its end of year tune and this place was nearby. I like the name “makoto-men” (real noodles) Hotaka. I figure that’s a big claim and they delivered. 🍜 Really simple. Good meaty broth, noodles, chashu pork, a little fresh ginger and some green onion. Just what my cold needed. It just a small place and won’t be winning awards, but for a solid bowl right near the shop I was going to, it was great. 🍜 I should also mention it was really cheap. The base bowl was only ¥730. I ordered two extra slices of pork for ¥150 and an ōmori (large serving) for an extra ¥100, but even with that it was still only ¥980 including tax. You know the price isn’t going up any time soon either, because the menu is carved into a chunk...

Had the miso ramen with extra cha shu (broth not too thick/viscous & pork so delicious, tender) while wife had the shoyu ramen tamago (creamy eggs, moyashi, equally delicious broth). Lots of chewy noodles, different kind for each style of ramen. Excellent miso ramen in a city with many great ramen-ya: off the beaten path, close to Oyachi Bus Terminal and a couple of pachinko parlors. Yen only: purchase a ticket, sit at 1 of 2 tables (or grab a stool), and expect...

ここ数年で食べた数十軒、数百杯の中でダントツに最低レベルのラーメンですね。 というかスープを一口飲んで、なんのコクも旨みも味噌の香りもないただのお湯?にちょこんと生姜が乗ってるので生姜湯とでも言うのですかね。 こちら2人で入店し味噌チャーシュー麺と醤油チャーシュー麺た頼みましたが、後から4人が来店し味噌3つと醤油1つ頼んでましたが、 先客もなくオーダーもかかってないはずなのに私たちのラーメンが随分と来ませんね。 しばらく待ってやっと着丼すると謎は解けました。 なんと後続の4人のラーメンも同時に作っていたのです。 つまり味噌4つと醤油2つを同時に調理していたということ。 百歩譲って醤油は良しとしましょう。 しかし、味噌ラーメンを2人前以上同時に作るなんて、鼻から美味いラーメンを提供しようとは思っていない事がわかります。 なぜならどんなプロの料理人でも、鉄鍋でのあおりの感覚が少しでも狂うと味噌の場合は全く味が変わってしまうので、まともなラーメン屋はまず2人前以上は同時には作りません。(作り手が二人いる場合は別。) 村中系!?!?どこの馬鹿舌がそんな事口コミに書いてるのか知りませんが有り得ません。 嘘の情報はやめてくださいね。 スープを一口二口飲み、麺は食べるまでもなくとにかく最低最悪レベルのひどいラーメンでした。

チャーシューは柔らかくてホロホロしていい感じでしたが、こんなに味のしないラーメンに対しては全く合ってませんね。

店の能率、作る工程を省略する事を優先していて、味噌ラーメン作りの繊細さが分かっていない店主のようです。

スープ一口のチャーシューしか食べてないのでご馳走...
