Cafe Terrace Camellia — Restaurant in Sasebo

We had daily breakfast here at the Camelia which has an extensive selection of food. A bit more westernish than japanese but it’s good stuff, so really do we care too much?? It’s HTB after all. 😉 space is good and you are guided to your table by a staff 👍🏻 during our stay, we were lucky not to have to wait. 🙏🏻 windows are large and have great view of the outside canal and houses. We went for a few rounds to get our food and seem everyone is polite and queuing up nicely without any apparent rush. Other than the large crowd, we find the place quite charming and nice place to relax and lay back. 😝 service staff are quite helpful but could be better if some could be more inclined to remove the empty plates more often rather than piling up on the table. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. It provides an opportunity to sample a variety of local specialties, such as champon, roast pork, fish cake, castella, etc. More importantly, the taste is good, better than what I had in some famous restaurants in Nagasaki. The freshly made omelette is amazing. I didn’t see Sasebo burger. Maybe they don’t want to serve american junk food in an euro village. 🤣
