I've eaten here 3 times. Each time it appears to get better. It looks like the restaurant (both diner and bucket list) are learning and refining their menus and service. They are taking the legitimate criticism and critiques constructively. Example; I tried the new burger today. And it was pretty good. The patty was thin but large. Could be an interesting marketing angle. I also really appreciate the friendliness of the staff as well.

Personally speaking I really really hope that the diner continues to adapt and evolve. I would like to see a breakfast or brunch option (perhaps a special on the weekends or once a month). A breakfast would really lend credit to the name diner. If a breakfast or brunch menu is made I think it would be something special that separates the restaurant from anything in Sasebo. They would have me for a regular every Sunday morning. I can tell you that much. And I would bet that they would attract a large variety of people to try it as well.

Cheers. And keep up the good work regardless. I'll make sure to update my review if...

I was excited by the decorations (including a classic American car) and layout. As you walk in, the decor is true to American roadside diners, and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

However, having been to many classic diners in the US, I probably expected something more American in terms of food on the menu. Based on some of the signs and advertising, I imagined hamburgers, hotdogs, French fries, and ice cream sundaes or milkshakes.

The menu in the main restaurant had only a few choices, and none of which you’d find in an American diner. The salad was very small and underwhelming. The soup was okay. The diced steak was over seasoned with ginger and soy sauce. I appreciate that unlimited soft drinks were included at no charge, and large draft beers were a modest price, but scratched my head at the rice pilaf and carbonara pasta.

This is a unique place to visit and I’m very happy for the outdoor patio seating options, but unless the menu changes to include American soul food, I wouldn’t recommend this to people wanting a...

Cute little themed "American Roadside Diner" restaurant I am sure is a very popular date spot amongst the locals. It offered various American themed food at a fairly reasonable price. No complaints regarding the food selections.

The bucket buffalo wings tasted pretty good, though normally the sauces are traditionally a bit more richer, and sweet in flavor, the product was leaning more toward hot-wings.

Also, as others had already mentioned, there are 2 separate restaurant menus (2 separated owners in the diner area), this will be confusing to most people especially when they shared the same drink bar.

Overall, great vibe and view. A lot of effort was placed into the interior and exterior decoration. Fun "tuk-tuk" tour ride included...

I had high hopes about this place but was let down. To be fair we only had the burgers and happened to not be part of the main restaurant. Had to go around to a very small room and a lady has a little kitchen kinda tossed in there. Burgers were not fresh as I saw a tray with around 6 cooked patties just sitting out in the open. The flavors were not normal to a hamburger and raw in the middle with the buns covered and soaked in oil . My wife was only able to eat 2 bites of her burger. The only reason this place is not a one star is due to the other restaurant which I have not given a fair chance but probably will not go back to and try. The atmosphere is very nice and looks fun. They play 50s and 60s music and I love that. Parking is decent.
