Seikaen Yakiniku - Hirota store — Restaurant in Sasebo

This is the best Yakiniku I've had in all of Japan!! We got a private area to eat. My boyfriend's parents told us to order whatever we wanted so we didn't worry about the price. But I was really surprised when everything came up to only ¥12,000!! We had 3 plates of garlic meat which was absolutely delicious. We had tongue, lots of beef, fatty belly meat, mussels, and cow tail. The cow tail was very good and the first time I've had it grilled. They had alcohol free beer for the driver. We also went to the bathroom and it was extremely clean. We even saw the staff preparing the meats and cutting them fresh on the way back to our booth. Everything was perfect. Not sure why this place gets bad reviews. Very clean inside and each table is very private and comfortable. Service was prompt and good.
