A small mom and pop sushi restaurant that is extremely well-regarded in the area. We live about a 30 second walk away from the restaurant and I cannot believe my luck in finding such an excellent place so close by. You would easily pay 10x the price for the quality of sushi here at the most expensive London restaurants, and even then it wouldn't be the same. We've ordered to take out on special occasions and the couple that run the restaurant couldn't have been more accommodating. You can of course eat in the restaurant too where they provide you with osuimono and a dessert too. They do everything from an expensive in season moriawase (5000+ JPY) to chirashi-zushi for lunch at the cheaper end (1500 JPY, pictured below). Everything they make is delicious. It is worth coming out this far from Sendai station just to pay them a visit.

貝ヶ森のゆったりした雰囲気の中、笑顔が可愛らしい女将さんと親方がご夫婦で経営されています。

お寿司の美味しさはもちろん、驚くのはどこを見てもピカピカで清潔感のある店内。 私は個人事業をなさっている娘さんのクライアントなのですが、おふたりで毎日遅くまで念入りにお店をきれいにしているのだそうです。
