Perhaps the best burger in all of Japan, much better, unique, tasty and affordable than any burger store in Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Kobe, Fukuoka and other big cities. The decor is cool and laid back like a chill place in the states, and the restaurant is open late too.
The burger I had was amazing. So many burgers in Japan have bad buns, grind their patties too coursely, or underseason, even for someone who has a developed palette like me. In this case, everything was done perfectly. The burger was perfectly warm, didn't take long to come out, had the best mix of umami and salty flavors without being too much, the bun was crispy, the patty was juicy with the perfect amount of chew. Personally, I think that other prospective burger shops should be required to come here and try their burgers so that they know what an actual good burger is like.
I got the carnitas burger and it was so good I forgot to take a photo of it.
The staff are friendly too and were able to answer some questions I had, so it's nice that they have workers as good...
Read moreI had seen this place before, and had heard it was good from others who went, so I went in one night to get a burger, as I haven't had a burger in a while. This place is amazing! The bun was perfectly toasted, the meat had a perfect saltiness to it, and the veggies on top were nice and fresh. If you want to have a burger that tastes just like it's from the U.S. then you have to go here!
The service was really good, both employees that were there were super nice, very hospitable, and made sure everything was brought to us. We even got some free oden at the end of our meal! The atmosphere was so comfortable, I felt like I was back home! They had seating downstairs, but there was even more seating upstairs in a very cozy room, with some music playing.
Everything there was great, and just what I needed to have a great meal! 6 out of 5, I would...
Read moreTheir sign is teeny, as if they don't care whether you notice them or not.
It's one of those hole-in-the-wall places that feels like it was built out of an old flat, but that gives it sort of a rustic, café atmosphere that is a bit unique for a burger joint.
The burgers themselves are good, and customizable. You can get extra patties, pulled pork, cheese...
Does not seem to have parking, but it's within a few steps...
