居酒屋Manaya — Restaurant in Shingu

A no frail late evening option that's hard to come by on a Sunday evening where virtually everything shut down.

Wonderful sashimi with fresh fish and great bargain price!!!! All other dishes are great and we even tried whale meat from taiji. But sashimi won the day after trying 8 or 9 different dishes.

Waitresses are extremely friendly would go out of their way to help us nonJapanese speakers.

Probably the best option in Shingu. The place is warm and friendly with old commercial posters. Fish is fresh from the day, all the food is delicious though quite cheap which makes it very good value for money. We tasted sushi, sashimi, fried chicken, fried squid, vegetables, mochi ans sesame balls. The staff is considerate, joyful and efficient. We were served very quickly.
