(English review follows after Japanese review) 【馴れ初め】和歌山県は海と山に恵まれた場所ですが、特に新宮・勝浦エリアに来たなら地元でとれた美味しいものを美味しく食べたいものです。 そんな希望に答えてくれるのが「辰寿し」。もう何年になるでしょうか。節目節目で何度も家族と訪れさせて頂いて居ます。海外のお客様を連れて行くこともあります。大将と女将さんはすごく優しくて面白いです。転勤で新宮に住むことになった方も、まずお店に行ってみたら色々情報を教えてくれると思いますのでお勧めです。 【お勧め】お店では、まずはお任せ握りコース一人前を注文してみてください。程よく固めのシャリに新鮮な地元の海の幸が握られます。いつも味の良いのは知っているので、行く度に何も考えず安心して一貫一貫食べられる贅沢さはひとしおです。こういうお店が新宮にあってすごく嬉しいです。 コースが終わったあとはまた海の幸を楽しめる一品料理を頼んでも良いですね。迷えば（迷ってなくても）大将や女将さんとお話すれば、楽しいひとときになります。いつもお話させてもらうのも楽しみにしています。ちなみに茶碗蒸しが美味しくいつも注文しています。

[How I got to know this place] Wakayama prefecture in general is rich in its resource from the sea and the montain. Especially when you are visiting the Shingu area, it is a very good idea to try sushi made with fresh shea food, together with locally produced Sake. I have been eating in this charming sushi restaurant since long time ago, together with my family. Sometime I bring foreign guests from another contries here, because I know that this is the best Sushi restaurant in Shingu where you can eat and drink local food presented at its best. The owner couple might be bit shy(because they cannot speak English so well), but they are very charming once you got to know how to communicate with them.

[Recommendations] Try their "Omakase" course menu to start with. You get the best sushi with the best selection of fish of the day, that came from the local fish market. To order local sake with this course is a must.

If you are still hungry after the course, then you can try to ask them some recommendations for small dishes or more sushi. I like their "Chawanmushi" (steamed egg custard), but I am sure that you will find a variety of attractive menu. If they cannot understand what you are asking, use google translate or ask them to call their daughter! I know she speaks good English. :)
