This quaint little restaurant, located just across from Shirahama Station, has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with only a few seats available. It’s run by a couple of elderly women, which gives the place a homey, authentic touch. One thing to note is that the kitchen area is covered, so you can’t see what’s going on behind the scenes. I can’t speak to the hygiene standards back there, but we’ve never had any issues with the food. In general, I’ve noticed that Japanese kitchens can sometimes be a bit less strict about cleanliness, but this hasn’t affected our experience.
We make it a point to visit this restaurant once a year before heading to Shirahama, and the kids always look forward to it. The ladies running the place are incredibly kind to them, which makes our visit even more enjoyable. It’s a charming spot with a lot of heart, and we always leave with full,...

They don't speak English that well but are pretty nice. Wechat/Alipay/CC available which is a nice touch for a family op. Plum leaf sushi is not worth it as a specialty as it...

Personally I believe its disrespectful to review their foods - this place is more like a local community place for local grandpas...
