Stayed here for 2 nights. The booking was done via email months ahead. Took some effort to get the email address as it was not listed in their official website. The personnel who communicated with me via email is very patience and reply promptly. The Panda Houses were meant for 2 to 5 person with minimum booking for 2 person but as I was alone, special approval has to be sought to give me a single room rate. Took a train from Kyoto to Shirahama directly and then took a local bus from the train station to the bus stop for Tore Tore Fish Market. The Panda Village is situated opposite Tore Tore Fish Market but the bus stop is actually diagonally on the opposite side of the Fish Market. So upon alighting from the bus, do not cross the road to Tore Tore Market side but walk along the same side for about 8 minutes to reach the entrance. There is a conveyor belt restaurant just outside the village. Go up the slope and turn to left side, walk past the souvenir outlet to reach the Reception/check-in area. Despite checking-in at 1430hrs, I was been informed that they will only let me have the key at official check-in time at 1500hrs. The panda house itself is big and very cosy. I like how natural lights is been let in by the skylights on the roof of the dome structure. Basic toiletries are been provided. My room rates included tax, buffet breakfast & dinner and spa. There is a free shuttle service to nearby Adventure World in the morning at 9.30am but will have to pre-book with the Reception as seats are limited in the mini bus. Other than that, there are not many facilities in the Village unless one has a car and able to drive out. From what I see, the Panda Village main clientele are local Japanese families and groups of friends. I think I am the only foreigner and solo traveller during my stay here. So naturally the staff are not very conversant in English but they tried and I appreciate it. There are no shuttle service to the train station though so I got the Reception to help call a taxi when I checked-out and the fare is about 1000yen. I will recommend this place for Panda lover like myself to have some relaxing time around since it is very quiet in...

部屋の中のお風呂が、何処のレビューを見ても、全然写真なども無かった為、こちらに掲載しておきました。 温泉の方には行かなかった為、お部屋でお風呂に入りました。 けして広くはありませんが、普通に問題ないサイズのお風呂です。 シャンプーリンスなども、小さいアメニティのが置いてあり、問題なく遣わさせていただきましたが、お風呂場にそれを置けるような場所が無かったので、少し不便でした^^;
