A rather nondescript building, safeguarding a not so hard-to-find but perhaps not so easy to spot modern take of a Japanese cafe. Hunting down a meal can be exhilarating; getting lost before getting fed lends an air of adventure to any culinary quest.

The chef himself is not a local, but a daredevil from Hyogo, 5 years and counting since he settled down in this secluded onsen town, almost a thousand kilometers away from home.

Expect everything from takoyaki to tonpeiyaki and briny clams, to pillowy gyoza, to grace the changing menu.

The interior is masterfully put together to ignite your curiosity while sipping on your chaser or even to fill your time while enjoying a cup of coffee during lazy afternoons.
