お山の売店 新山堂 Shinzando — Restaurant in Sobetsu

My family and I were here this afternoon for the Mount Usu Ropeway, and we decided to drop in for some drinks and for Hokkaido's famous milk ice cream, before taking the Ropeway. For me, I had an Ice Coffee with milk ice cream for JPY500 and it was very good. The soft-serve milk ice cream topping was, as expected, very yummy, and the coffee was very good - robust and not acidic. And when the "remnants" of the milk ice cream was mixed into the coffee, the combination was like a match made in heaven. 昼食を終え有珠山をちょっとハイキングした体に糖質補給・・って言い訳でこちらに来ました。店内飲食カウンターと、ちょっとのお土産のこじんまりしたテイクアウト中心ですかね。なんとなく山小屋風です。揚げ物やフランクって高速のＰＡみたいな品揃え。メニューは外国の方にもわかりやすく写真が多く貼られています。寒いときは揚げ物とかフランクフルトって良いよね。今回は糖質一本。北海道産あずきソフトを！店員さんに聞くところ今日は空いているって。金曜日だからね。チョット暑い時期の週末はてんてこまいらしい。さてソフトを受け取るとねじ巻きが少し少ないか・・な？記念写真を撮って実食します。北海道産あずき風味が美味しい。あずきの粒も入ってるし！和テイストで良いかも。450円ならOK。食べながらよく見るとコーンが紅白（白じゃないけど）じゃ...
