Really good food at a homely restaurant run by a warm and friendly middle-aged lady. She was very energetic too! The restaurant does not have an English menu, but it serves simple teishoku/shokudo kind of meals. We had an Oyakodon and Katsudon set meal that came with side dishes and a dessert. Having a restaurant that is close to the hotels that serves pretty expensive dinners, dinner here was really nice, and the price was worth it. I really love the panna cotta dessert that came with the set, too! The total price paid was ¥2400.

R4.12 和歌山県東牟婁郡太地町 串揚げ、串カツ、定食のお店で駐車場は店前に5台、現金支払いのみ、 店内は綺麗で厨房前のカウンター席4席、4人掛けテーブル席3つ、後方のカウンター席2席あり、 定食系や麺系はお昼だけの提供で、全てデザートとコーヒーが付きます。 おまかせ串ランチ 税込1500円 メインの串揚げ5本、小鉢・サラダのプレート、ご飯、みそ汁、食後のデザートとホットコーヒーという豪華な内容、 メインの串揚げ5本は、 茄子の田楽、大アスパラガス、天使の海老、オクラと小海老、海老と大葉で、 特に天使の海老は、フランス海外領土のニューカレドニアで養殖されている世界最高品質の海老で、抜群の揚げ具合で旨味濃厚でかなりの美味しさ♪♪♪ 大アスパラガスも甘味と旨味が強くて、衣が半分付けてあるのがそれぞれの異なる食感も楽しめて美味しい♪♪ 茄子の田楽、オクラと小海老、海老と大葉もかなりの良さ♪♪ 小鉢・サラダのプレートは、右から漬物、サラダ、きんぴらごぼう、大豆と小松菜ともやしの和え物、カボチャと小豆の煮物、きゅうりと白菜の酢の物となっていて、それぞれしっかりと作り込まれていてGOOD♪♪ デザートは、レアチーズのホイップ添えで、ゴールデンキウイものっていて美味♪ コーヒーは、デミタスカップで、しっかりとしたコクを感じ、苦味と酸味は適度でバランスが良くて美味しい♪♪

当日は車中泊をと考えていたのですが生憎の雨模様なので紀伊勝浦駅前に宿を取り、夕飯はお酒を呑みがてらどこにしようか駅前商店街をグルグル回ってここにしました、最初に入店したときには客が誰も居なくて気マズイな…💧と思いましたがその後すぐに満員御礼となるくらいに地元の方が飲みに来る処でした、つきだし、おでん、山菜、カツ丼を食べましたがどれもおいしかったです、また再訪したいと思います。 令和２年２月 お店が変わり今は違う方が飲み屋さんをやられています 安くておいしかっただけにお店がなくなって残念です。 令和六年二月追記、 似た名称のお店が太地町にあるので気になって折を見て訪問、 やはりというか移転されていたということで正解でした、 串揚げのランチメニューは土日のみやられているようです、 しかし代わりに注文したチキンカツもほどよくサクサク感でおいしかったです、 以前のお店から察するに、どうも揚げ物がこの辺りの飲食店の中でも群を抜いていると思います。 お昼どきだからなのか店内は近隣のマダム層が多いのでなかなか視線を感じて来づらいものを覚えますが今度は夜の部に来てみたいと思います。
