Anti Noodle — Restaurant in Takamatsu

Delicious and different flavours than many other ramen joints around. For those who like the thicker soups. Unlike some other reviewers (perhaps they had covid so they couldn't taste anything??) I can report that there is definitely flavour throughout the whole dish(es).

Payment system: Also be aware they have a cash only system where you buy it first with their vending machine, like other old school ramen joints.

Curry ramen: #The curry ramen is very spicy from about #3 on their scale. And for some reason they use the Kanji 咖哩for curry, so it is hard to read (even for Japanese people I think)

Staff: The majority of the staff are very bright and energetic looking, only the young girl (not sure if she is a worker or the daughter...) is a little meek and doesn't convey confidence whatsoever. Not really a downside since she is hardly needed for the buying process...

It feels like the place is run by passionate individuals that love their noodles. We are foreigners with a young kid and they were really nice about it, taking time to explain the menu at the ordering machine to us. Food was splendid. Soup was delicious and portion size was generous. I enjoyed the dinner. It doesn’t have a lot of seating space though so huge families would have to sit apart. I don’t recall kids utensils though. There’s provided parking...

I loved the Chicken Tsukemen!! The soup was thick and luxurious with a generous amount of chicken oil. The noodles were a bit thicker and flat, which were perfect for getting coated with the dipping soup. Eating the slightly cooled, chewy noodles with the warm soup was a great contrast and very hearty eating in the winter. Enjoyed every bite, thank you...
