BB's New York Slice — Restaurant in Takamatsu

💯Will repeat when I'm in Takamatsu! What a gem in this small city.

🇺🇸🇯🇵Bilingual menu & staff 🇮🇹❌For those who don't know, New York style pizza is different than Italian. The slices are big, you eat it with your hands, and the cheese:sauce ratio is different.

🍕Taste- on point! So good! The slices were standard New York size, and they were good! The pepperoni was legit, the sauce was great (not sweet), the cheese was good too. There's one monthly flavor, for April 2025 it's teriyaki chicken, which was so good.

🧂As for condiments, he's got red pepper flakes, garlic, oregano, and homemade and bottled hot honey, and he's got some hot sauces coming over from the US. He reluctantly keeps a bottle of mayo behind he counter (which was good on the teriyaki), but refuses to keep Tabasco sauce haha. A real purist.

💁Owner Seth was born in Manhattan and is a Takamatsu transplant. His young son is sometimes at the pizzeria, I was sad I missed him because he showed me photos and dang he's cute!!

Ordered the lunch combo; 2 slices (cheese and pepperoni) and a drink (Dr. Pepper) for 1100 yen.

Taste: Couldn't ask for a better pizza. The cheese was flavorful and the base was thin with a great texture.

Menu: Only offers pizza and drink, so those looking for fries may be disappointed, however I see no need in adding this to the menu as the restaurant can put all it's energy into making good pizza. Currently there are 6 options for pizza toppings, the options are simple, but that is a positive in my opinion as they are flavorful and we don't need anymore pizzas dressed as forests.

Location: Underneath Ritsurin station JR (not kotoden unfortunately) good for those passing by the area. Restaurant has a decent amount of seating space, but may be hard to find a seat at peak times. The kitchen space is open so you can enjoy watching the cooks as they prepare your meal.

Overall: A great little pizza place that offers something new, compared to other pizza shops in Takamatsu. I'm sure you'll find the flavor very unique and delicious and it's worth...

Great New York Style pizza served with a smile. The pizza here is great and the workers are friendly and courteous! Pizza can be bought by the slice, as part of a lunch combo, or bought as a whole pie. The decor is really nice, too. I feel like a little bit of New York has been transported to the heart of Takamatsu. I highly recommend the lunch combo where you can get two (big delicious) slices of pizza and a drink starting...
