The selection of books is pretty interesting, especially for murder mystery. Unfortunately I couldn't find the English section. I also stopped at the cafe but the staff were very inefficient and not very friendly. They weren't rude but didn't seem to want to serve, perhaps because they don't speak English. Not a very pleasant feeling, disappointed.

他のジュンク堂では見られない利点は勉強ができるスペースが併設されている。机が広くて、5名ほどしか使えないがついたてもありとても便利。購入した文房具をすぐ使用する事ができる。他店もこのスペースを入れてくれるとありがたい。

Well, I like it for what it is. Probably because I like small towns and "countryside" But they have a nice variety of things and there are plenty of connecting shops or shops nearby if you can't find what you're looking for. I know I found one of my books that I've been eyeing on the internet for so long, I got it for what it is and didn't have to go through the trouble of ordering online secondhand for...

ことでん瓦町駅の瓦町FLAG7階のジュンク堂書店。文具店のMARUZEN高松店と合わせてワンフロアの殆どを占める広大な売り場は本好きには堪らない眺め。売り場面積は約1,100坪で丸亀町の宮脇書店の約800坪を上回る広さがあるとか。

人通りの多いアーケード内にある宮脇書店と違って、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気が漂い、書架間の通路も広々したジュンク堂は心ゆくまでじっくり本選びが出来る書店です(蔵書数は100万冊も！)。ジュンク堂名物の｢座り読み｣スペースがあるので、書店というよりもまるで図書館にいるような感覚になってしまい、ついつい長居して購入せずに満足してしまいます(笑)。
