Cafe — Restaurant in Takashima

A really comfortable cafe situated at the south end of the famous metasequoia avenue. Popped in for a quick coffee break and was really impressed with the effort that has been put into such a small cozy cafe. The iced coffee and iced latte were both of really high quality. Getting a cake set was a good idea too for just ¥900. The soufflé cheesecake was lovely and soft and not too sweet at all, as was the pear tart which went really well with the coffee.

The decor inside is cozy, comfortable and timeless. It’s a lovely relaxing quiet spot away from the hustle bussle of all the tourists and travellers around metasequoia avenue and picland. If you want to get away to a quiet little spot and enjoy a break I highly recommend stopping at Koti cafe.

The lady who served us was really sweet, gentle and kind. I will be coming to Koti cafe again, really nice vibe, quiet location, lovely staff, good coffee and fair prices.

何度行ったか分からないくらい 大好きなお店です。

お料理はどれを食べても美味しいです。 ハンバーグランチが個人的にはオススメで、この味で珈琲や紅茶がついてお安いです。 メインだけではなく、副菜もたくさん付いてくるので身体も喜びます。

お店はお家みたいに温かい雰囲気で、作家さんのコーナーがあったり、地元のお米なども販売しています。

接客が無愛想と、口コミを何件も見ましたが、とてもシャイな店員さんです。 この辺りは、都会のファストフード店などと違い、好きにお店を開いて、のんびりされている方も多いので、都会のような接客は求めてはいけないのだと、長く住んで思いました。

ここのオーナーさんも、何度か行くと、とても気さくに話してください...
