This is hands down the best sushi place I’ve ever been to. The Omakase experience is made even more special by its unique and authentic setting.
We stumbled upon this gem by chance while staying at a nearby Ryokan and decided to try some local spots. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The fish was buttery smooth, everything tasted incredibly fresh, and every dish was prepared with meticulous care and attention to detail.
On top of that, the chef’s personality was unforgettable—so kind, outgoing, and genuinely interested in getting to know his guests. He even keeps a book where he writes down words in different languages and spoke a bit of Spanish to us, which was truly heartwarming.

Parked the car about 30m down the road on same side, looked like a vacant plot? Read moreThis is the first time to try this restaurant. The chef was nice and kind. When he knows we are came from Hong Kong, he change the language to English and Cantonese for us immediately. And always take care what we need and share the local things with us.(e.g. cable car & hot spring)
