Champonya — Restaurant in Tokoname

Came here at lunch time on a weekend. Had to wait a while for a seat both outside and in but the staff moved another couple to make room at a tatami table so our son could have a easier time eating. The couple that moved also did so without any complaints to a counter seat so we really appreciated that! Really wide range of customers from tourists like us to road workers on break. Also some Nagasaki pamphlets so even in Nagoya you can do some research on Nagasaki stuff.

I went to this place with my friends for lunch. Due to the crowd, we had to wait a bit, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. I ordered the Nagasaki Champon, which was very delicious! こちらのお店、先代の店主さんの事業継承で以前マスコミでも取り上げられており、尚且つクチコミ的にも愛知でトップレベルのちゃんぽんを出すお店として、だいぶ前からBMしておりました。この日は平日の金曜日。珍しく土日で無い日に有給をとって妻と2人で知多半島へドライブ。丁度良い機会と思いランチで初めて伺ってみる事に。他の方のコメントにもある様に若干分かり辛い専用駐車場にクルマを停めて11:30過ぎにお店前に到着。我々の前に3組の待ち有り、その後も次々とお客さんが来られて、前評判通りその人気の程が窺われます。外待ちの際、前もって聞かれたオーダーは2人ともちゃんぽんで。更に待つこと暫し。何の気なしに厨房を覗いていたら、この待ち行列の根本要因が厨房のオペレーションに起因している事が分かりました。外待ちの際、そして入店し、席で配膳を待つ間に目に入った偽らざる感想です。まずもって、厨房ご担当の男女の動きが驚く程ゆっくり。丁寧と言い換えることが出来なくも無いですが、恐らく提供時間の長さ、行列の一要因になっているのは間違い無いかと。この様な状況下、当然ながら、席についても着丼まで更に待つ事に。さて、ようやく供された一杯、非常に美しいビジュアルで期待が高まります。早速レンゲでスープを一口。残念な事に最初の印象が、美味いより先に”ヌルい”でした。このスープの”ヌルさ”は既述の厨房の余りにもスローなオペレーションに起因していると思わざるを得ず、この段取りの悪さが、提供された丼の熱々感の無さに繋がってしまった事、本当に残念でなりませんでした。以上、辛口なコメントとなりましたが、今後このお店が更に発展される際の一助となれば幸いです。日頃から余りネガティブなコメントはするべきでは無いと心得ておりましたが、今回は色々と考えさせられる事有り、敢えて一筆させていただきました。このお店の一ファンとして今後に期待致してお...
