LJ — Restaurant in Tokushima

We just had an unbelievable meal there. I had the vegan Unagi (eel) brown rice bowl and it was sooo good in addition to looking gorgeous. Hubby had the vegan 'meat' miso ramen which he also enjoyed. I gave him a bite of my brown rice (flavored, with beans) and a piece of my unagi and he loved it. We also loved our desserts (matcha ice "cream" and soymilk pudding, yummm).

For English speakers, the large menu is shown in 2 large posters of pics clearly labeled in English. They also have English menus.

The decor is certainly unique, the theme being pink roses. The motif is on EVERYTHING! What a place! I wish we could eat here again but alas we're just passing thru. The ladies are so nice and helpful.

Really the perfect experience. I was even picked up at the bus station after making an advance reservation. The house is a bright delight in the dark setting of the evening. Inside everything is decorate in rose pattern. Even the chopsticks. I immediately regretted not to be wearing lolita fashion today. The food was presented on the most artsy plate and I was surprised how fast it was given how carefully it was prepared. I ordered the weekly recommended plate and a dounat and burger to go and had the rose drink for dessert. I am sad they are closed the next days otherwise I would come here every night. There is a bus station very near by so you can come here from the city...

Absolutely delicious vegan/vegetarian cafe! This place is unique, and worth a visit if you come to Tokushima.

It is hard to choose an item on the menu as everything looks incredible. I went with the karaage brown rice plate, the beauty smoothy and the pumpkin coconut raw cake in dessert. The plate presentation is beautiful, and the food very fresh and tasty. I had not eaten such delicious vegetables since a while. And the raw cake was perfect.

The service was impeccable as well. The ladies of the cafe are extremely nice and caring.

Would 100% recommend and come back here if I visit...
