I got a Maple Syrup Custard taiyaki here a couple of hours ago. In the beginning, I was confused as, when we ordered take out, the taiyaki we got wasn't warm. But then I realised that this is a different kind of taiyaki, a summer version made with tapioca starch, which isn't supposed to be warmed up, with a texture that reminds me more of mochi!
