煉火亭 武蔵村山店 — Restaurant in Tokyo

I may have already posted a review, however, the food is delicious. Not to mention the ratio of quantity compared to the prices really makes this yakiniku location one of my favorites. The staff seems to be vetted for higher quality customer service, you can expect a good experience at most Japanese restaurants because the people are kind, however, it seems as though this location really focuses on their staff and how they treat the customers because of how much they care and how professional they are it really elevates the experience. I can only say this based on the many different visits over the years and the different faces of servers across the same time frame so you don't usually have the same folks so the standard of customer service always being present during every visit speaks to the quality of training and care provides by the staff. Now on to the food. I really enjoy the multitude of spices you can choose from and the pay per plate or Viking style (all you can eat) has reasonable prices. I especially enjoy the different sides and the quantity provided. I would recommend the special rice, with some lettuce leaves and kimchi. Yes, Kimchi is Korean, and Yes this is a Japanese restaurant but now days you might be hard pressed to find a restaurant without this typical side-dish-fusion. Besides the diversity makes the meal just that much better. The seating is always quick and there is plenty of room for guests and events but I never hosted one so you might need to call to arrange it. Also, you can drink water or enjoy the drink bar which has a variety of selections. Whenever I pull up, the smell from the BBQ vent just screams, "Get Ready for a Good Meal!" Likewise, most businesses won't promote other competition like in the states, this restaurant actually helps promote its neighbor restaurants it really makes you feel like these are small businesses invested in the community and those around them. Who knows maybe they own both but either way this restaurant has always been quite enjoyable! I hope you get the chance to experience this place...
