I’ve been dreaming of coming here for over 23 years. Finally I was able to go. I’d keep walking past here when it was closed or when it was busy or when I was busy and passing by. Often seeing the owner cleaning his kitchen meticulously. I wasp always amazed. My partner who lived here her whole life and friends living here for 50 years who have never been before. I had to come. It was always my dream when I found this place. So today I finally could eat here. I was so happy to try his soba and his fried rice and gyoza. Each bite I savoured like it would be my last. It might be my last as I will be leaving and going back to Canada, but still I was happy I could come and enjoy his food and see him work his wok. The food was hot and delicious. My brother-in-law says to try the Gomoku soba. If I ever get the chance to. I would want to try that as well. But sadly I think that will remain a dream for me. Eating there was emotional for me. When you get to eat something that has that traditional taste and style and you worry that nobody will take over the business for the next generation. It becomes emotional. I will continue to dream about this place for many years from far away. And yeah, this is kinda for adults. テーブルメニューは無し。狭い厨房の壁にメニューあり。アイテムは２０アイテム有るかないか。定食は無し。単品にライスでスープ付き。今まで通って注文したメニューは、ラーメン、タンメン、チャーハン、中華丼、肉野菜炒めにライス。他にも味噌、タンタン、もやし、五目、チャーシュー等々の麺もある。レバニラ、もやし炒め等々もある。もちろん餃子も。特に餃子は注文してから大将が皮に餡を入りて作る。メニューに無い注文にも答えてくれる。メニューにある商品の少々メニューみたいなメニューだけど。あとは餡硬め、麺硬めにも答えてくれる。その中でも俺はタンメン!今流行の野菜が湯がかれて何朗?とか生姜とか、お通しみたいな野菜が出る若者向けのタンメン屋さんとは違い、野菜は炒めてあり焦臭プラスごま油の香りが鼻の穴に入り込んで汁まで全部飲み干せる。有名チェーン店のタンメンの肉より肉が多くて、麺と野菜の箸休みにその肉とスープを堪能。こういう町中華を地域者よそ者が守...

実家近くにある店で何十年ぶりに訪問しました。ここでは毎回タンメンを食べます。野菜たっぷりのあっさり塩味。昔ながらの王道なタンメンと感じるシンプルさがとても美味です。

今回は同行した相方が注文したラーメンを少々頂いてみた。ちょっと驚き！よくある中華そばの味を(チェーン店的な)想像していたが全く異なった。鶏＆豚ガラがベースのしっかりとしたコクのある醤油味のスープ。それになじむ中太でやや縮れたもっちり麺。 何故今まで食べなかったのかと悔む程に私好みの味だった。旨い！安い！

大人しい雰囲気で無口な店主さんと思っていたので今まで会話したことなかったが、昔と変わらず美味しいですね…と話しかけたら、もうここで50年頑張ってるけど耳が遠くなってね〜と応じてくれました。 古い店内だけど綺麗にしてます。昔馴染みの常連さんが支えてる店ですね。 これからは実家に帰省する都度に寄らせて頂きます。全メニュー制覇し...
