GYUKATSU Kyoto Katsugyu Harumi Triton — Restaurant in Tokyo

This was absolutely worth getting a little lost for! Our party had 4 adults and 3 little tots andddddd we were definitely hesitating going into such a posh peaceful environment. We came from team labs and kidzania so our kids were a little chaotic, tired, wet/sticky, and all of us were absolutely famished! They were soooo accommodating to us and our children who took a minute to calm down. The food came out quickly, they were patient with our inability to speak Japanese and we ended up understanding each other perfectly for what was needed. The food was fresh, delicious, and came out sooooo quickly (thank you Jesus)!

Sitting directly across the kitchen, I can tell the meats were pre sous vide which made everything extremely efficient. The waitstaff were attentive and the beef was perfect medium rare. My kids scarfed up their food and I almost missed my opportunity to try some of their cuts. Overall 5/5 would recommend. I feel satisfied and happy. I’m so Mad 🤣 OMG 😝😝 this Gyukatsu spot is literally my Japan addiction! 🥩🔥 Every time we fly over from the US, I swear it feels like the whole trip is just for this beef lol. 🥰 The crunch, the juiciness, the way that pink center melts in your mouth… it’s a beef lover’s heaven.

We ate like there’s no tomorrow (seriously, lost count of how many sets we ordered 🤭). The crispy outside + soft tender inside + endless shredded cabbage + dipping sauces = perfection. ✨

Couldn't even take photos because the food was so appetizing when it came out. We ordered 2 single sirloin sets and a double sirloin set. The staff was so nice and proactive to offer and cut one of the cutlets into small pieces for my 6 year old. The cutlet was so tender and juicy, what a perfect medium rare. We ended up ordered an extra half cutlet, but if I wasn't trying to control my weight I would have ordered another set.
