Hanaya Yohei Meguro Yakumo — Restaurant in Tokyo

I quite like this family restaurant and the menu has something for everyone. You need to register at the machine as you walk in ( after washing your hands) and there are a number of language options. The machine gives you a ticket and when your number comes up, scan the QR code and go to the highlighted table. This particular restaurant has the food delivered by robots - pretty cool! - as well as the usual drinks bar etc. I had the seared tuna bowl with raw egg and tempura. I upgraded my miso to one with small clams - which I love,! I thought my tuna bowl was a little bit average and the tempura was lukewarm and flabby. Hence a star taken off. However, it may depend on the day and the restaurant as to how good the food is. I would still come back. There is parking underneath and a small area...

A pretty standard Hanaya Yohei chain with car park underneath. On a Monday lunch there were a few young families. Order by a tablet which supports English. A huge variety of sets with something for everyone as long as it's washuko. Service was prompt and friendly.

There seems an unwritten rule that families with young kids get the tatami space, so go for western seating if you want to avoid the commotion...

Tasty family restaurant with lots of food kids would enjoy. So much nicer than a standard Denny's or Saizeria. Lots of seafood options with generous portions. We ordered two mains each plus side dishes, kids meals and two beers and we only paid about 8000yen. Highly recommended if you're looking for a casual and tasty place...
