Isami Sushi — Restaurant in Tokyo

Found this place by chance, and it was a really great experience. Firstly, we were greeted and helped by a regular customer inoue san and he really helped us a lot since we don't speak fluent Japanese (or hardly any property Japanese) . And then shige-san and his team also deliver amazing omotenashi, with really good food. We ended up having great conversation with inoue san, other clients who are regular as well, and with shige-san. It was a great experience and once again proven that Japanese are amazingly helpful and friendly. Not to mention that the food is amazing ❤️ I genuinely love how the shop is run on community spirit, that all the customer know each other like family.

Found this gem of a tiny restaurant outside the city a stone's throw from TachiAigawa station. We landed there due to our airbnb. Food was cheap! And good! Omakase at 4600 yen!! Restaurant owner has built a close knit relationship with customers and we were helped with ordering by a regular customer. Sushi master is 80 years old but still strong. Scallops were my favorite.
