If you have business in the area, this is a perfectly adequate hotel. Positives: helpful front desk staff most of whom who speak English, very clean rooms and facilities, near Oimachi train stations and shopping center, quiet, decent free WiFi, area is safe at night. Negatives: although Tokyo hotel rooms are small, mine was just too small for comfort. With a double bed in it, I had to be careful every time I moved around the room to avoid banging my legs on something and I had to climb on to the bed to open the drapes. There is only one drawer for clothes plus some hangers on the wall. No gym, breakfast is in a restaurant outside the hotel, and the front desk wasn't staffed when I went to check out at 7 a.m. (I did manage to rouse someone eventually).||Some tips: The Cocos restaurant associated with the hotel has mediocre food including breakfast. You'll do better to walk 100 yards down the road to the shopping center where there are better places, including some western style restaurants. Be aware that there are actually two Oimachi stations, serving different companies. Make sure you know by asking at the hotel which one you need before entering -- if you get inside the gates at the wrong one, it's almost impossible to get to the other one. Similarly when finding the way back to the hotel -- it's not obvious where the hotel is if you arrive at a different station than you originally did. The shopping center near the hotel is pretty good and the prices are cheaper, sometimes much cheaper, than central Tokyo. If you are going to Haneda airport by train from the hotel, make sure you get a ticket that combines the regular train with the Tokyo monorail. Finally, be aware that if you don't speak Japanese, out here in the suburbs there are far fewer people on the street and in the train stations who speak English.
