I gave it an excellent because the value to stay quality ratio was very high.||||Location: About 5 blocks, 7 minutes walk from the Japan Rail station off the main street and not visible from the station exit. The surrounding area is loaded with food and shopping options. Tokyo is 1 stop away at Shinagawa station from where you can go everywhere on the Yamanote line (circle route) and Yokohama and Chinatown are a direct shot under 30 minutes. ||||Hotel: Because its buried in a business district, rates on the weekend are inexpensive, compared to most popular areas around metro Tokyo, where mid range hotels can be 300 - 400% higher, particularly on Saturday. In most places if you want to stay Saturday, book as far ahead as possible. ||||The rooms were small, but lacking for nothing. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Some general thoughts and notes: They're about a 10min walk from Oimachi Station, and easy enough to find. If you stay multiple nights and opt for reduced cleaning, they'll give you a voucher coin for the vending machines. Or Ponta points, if you care about that. My room was clean and reasonably comfortable. There was no view of note from it but I don't generally care about that. Breakfast is from 7-9. They rotate menus. As with many "continental" breakfasts, it's a lot of side menu items/appetizers without much of anything to really anchor it around. But it was all fine. Free WiFi is easy to use and stable. Located right opposite Oimachi station. Shopping centre, supermart and restaurants all nearby.||I am super pleased and happy with the room. Clean, pleasant, well equipped. There is even an ironing board in the room.||This is also the first hotel where I stayed at where the bathroom's mirror doesn't fogged up totally. ||The light switches and power point are just right next to the side of each beds.
