Kisoji Mitaka — Restaurant in Tokyo

A great lunch/dinner option with high quality Japanese cuisine. Despite being a chain restaurant, this place serves up some high quality sashimi, shabu shabu, sukiyaki, and tempura. Their lunch set menus are of amazing value. I always order their sukiyaki set which is only a little more than 1,000 yen -- what a steal. The restaurant is always clean, the waiters very polite and attentive, and the quality of food high. I highly recommend this outlet to anybody looking for an elegant dining experience. On top of that, this is one of the few restaurants that has been around in the area for decades -- this in and of itself speaks volumes about how prized this place is...

The restaurant is along a main drag where car dealerships and home store is located. However the main dining room of the restaurant has a beautiful garden encased in glass. We took advantage of the spring menu set which included tempura, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) clam broth, katsuo sashimi salad, mini beef sukiyaki, bamboo shoot chirashi sushi, Sakura ice cream and green tea.
