Kocca bocca — Restaurant in Tokyo

Another delicious find in Hamadayama! I ordered a green salad, which was big enough to share. The greens were freshly washed to order and included mushrooms, tomatoes, salami, and other ingredients. It was served with a prepared to order vinegar and oil dressing. Next time, I'll get the fresh ham and ricola salad. I also had the pizza, again large enough for two. The crust and pizza sauce are made in-store, I had the Capriachosa pizza, which was delicious. I also ordered a carafe of white wine. It's the tiniest of store fronts, with just 4 tables for 2. There are 4 stools on the porch, but I suspect this is just for people who are waiting for a table. This is a one-man show, so expect a leisurely meal, but a definitely delicious one. Decided to dine in the restaurant today. Good decision!

If you’re looking for very tasty pizza, or other Italian dishes, get your self to Kocca Bocca.

We had the fresh, imported from Italy, porcini pizza and a sausage pizza. Yummy for both.

We started with a Bocca Salad which is a nice mix of salad veggies with the owner chef’s house made rice oil dressing. Excellent! It is so good that we bought a bottle of dressing to take home.

There is a very nice selection of international beers and we also had a generously sized carafe of wine.

We topped it off with biscotti made using espresso coffee made by the chef’s wife and a house baked hazelnut sfogliatella and an espresso made from beans roasted on premise.

All this for under ¥7.000 (about $48).

A Japanese friend‘s been living in Italy for a long recommended so I stopped in. Took order for Lunch set: pizza with salsiccia and summer vegetables. Adding a salad and an espresso. The pizza was not heavy and had a refined taste, so I was totally satisfied. There are many different types of pizza, but the pizza at this restaurant is my favorite.
