A small Sundubu restaurant located on the fringe streets of the Jiyugaoka neighborhood. The soup/stew is comprised of a savory broth filled with tofu and spices. You then pick one out of ten different ingredients to add to the soup, such as pork, kimchi, beef, mushrooms, seafood, innards, etc. You then determine your own spice level, ranges from 1 to 7. It was my first time and I will definitely be back…everything about it was delicious. You get side dishes and rice, but also get to pick the spiciness. I went with a 3 but will try more next time. I really don't know what the Los Angeles-style Korean meal is, but the food itself was definitely very good. They boil their rice one by one with a small pot, so we could not change the amount of rice. I liked that they had mixed-grain rice. Also, the variety of the...
