Located in Nakano Ward, Tokyo Marukatsu Ramen" is located in Nakano Ward, Tokyo. I happened to be in the neighborhood on business, so I improvised.
I had known about Marukatsu for a long time, but it was a little out of the mainstream because of its beef bone ramen. However, I had not visited Marukatsu for a long time because it was somewhat out of the mainstream because of its beef bone ramen. However, the ingredients used were A5 grade beef, which was perfect.
And Ijyo Gaako Ryu, a well-known restaurant in Tokyo since the 1980s, also uses beef bone broth. It is a somewhat core ramen style that leans toward the outer corner of the market.
Marukatsu, by the way, was founded in 2014, making this year the tenth anniversary of its establishment.I guess they have gotten over Corona and are on the right track.
What did you order? Gyukoku Ramen + Half Wagyu Beef Bowl Set It was 1500 yen.(As of May 2024).
As I mentioned before, the broth is a rich and delicious soup carefully made from beef bones. The broth is sweet...also full-bodied soy sauce. It was an elegant simple soy sauce soup with a pronounced sweetness.Good.
The noodles were thin and straight with low water content. They were firm and crispy. It is also good.
The toppings were two pieces of soft medium-sized pork chashu pork. This was not pork chashu, but beef chashu, which is rare.By the way, this is also A5 ranked Wagyu beef. There were also boiled cabbage, bamboo shoots, half a boiled egg, and nori (seaweed). The toppings were also nice.
The Wagyu Beef Bowl is topped with sweet and spicy cooked Wagyu beef, pickled cabbage, and half of a boiled egg.It was not only half a bowl, but also a very generous portion. It was a good value for money. It is good.
Both the ramen and the bowl of rice are made with high quality Wagyu beef, so I think it is a good value for money at 1,500 yen. It was quite tasty, so I will stop by again when I am in the neighborhood.Thank...
Read moreMy partner and I went here for lunch today after our long travels from England and it was the perfect first meal in Japan! I never leave reviews but the lady that worked there was so kind and helpful! I’m vegetarian and she helped me with what they could serve on the menu which wasn’t a whole lot of options but so delicious! I ordered the miso ramen and they kindly substituted the beef ball for an egg. My partner had the beef onigiri and beef ramen and he...
Read moreDecent beef ramen with a beef brother which you don’t see much of. The broth was quite light and the portion a decent size leaving you satisfied. It was quite flavourful, I would’ve preferred a stronger beef taste in the broth. The slices of beef were tender and melted nicely in your mouth. Worth trying at least once, the menu is quite simple, at 980yen, you cant complain but i felt it was a little on the...
