McDonald's Tamagawajosui branch — Restaurant in Tokyo

We don't have a Macca's in my town, so this is the closest one, on Tamagawajosui concourse, between the Seibu and monorail lines. The service is a bit dreadful. They are pretty fast, but the amount of people who work here that outright ignore you standing in the line because you are not Japanese is amazing for a MacDonald's. The older staff are nice and pleasant, but the young girls will serve people standing behind you first, and pretend not to see you, or won't make an attempt to answer your questions when you speak Japanese, and do not make eye contact. I had a young guy two days ago tell me, after I ordered, that he didn't speak English. I wasn't speaking English, the entire conversion was in Japanese. It's like they have never seen a non Asian face before? I've been there twice in 2 weeks. It's always crowded with school kids and old people (who sit at a table all day with one cup of coffee). The lines are long. If you are planning on just grabbing some takeaway and jumping on the train in a hurry, give yourself at least an extra ten or fifteen minutes, the lines of people waiting sometimes go right out the door. I've never seen...

The man at the register spoke English so that was nice. The restaurant was very clean, too. However, my food was completely cold when they brought it to my table. The fries were below room temperature and I don't even know how that's possible. They looked like they were made several hours ago too, and this was at the beginning of peak hours for a restaurant.

They did bring me new fries, but the employee I told about it just seemed annoyed with me. I'll probably be back sometime since it's on my way home, so I'll see if...

玉川上水駅改札前。 改札前のもあって、お昼時や通勤時間帯など混んでいます。 イートインスペースは2部屋あり、カウンターがあるのは店舗入口入って右手のエリア。 御手洗は入口正面のイートインスペース入って右手奥。

お昼時間帯は混みますが、ベテランのスタッフさんが大半みたいで、仕事を回すのが上手く、注文した商品も比較的早く提供されます。 出来たてのポテトを頂けたりします。

ただ、夜の時間帯19時辺りは学生のバイトさん？が大半らしく、とにかく動きが遅い。 待ち番号が表示されるモニターに、番号がビッシリ埋まっても、ゆっくり。 カウンター前には待っている客で埋まっていて、入口からはみ出ていました。 スマホを弄るのをやめて、腕を組みながらカウンター見つめている客も居ました。 マックシェイク1つだけ頼んで待っていましたが、提供されたのは体感では20分。 しかも、事前に作られて貯めに貯めたドリンクの中から抜き取って、番号順に提供。 想像通り、マックシェイクの容器の表面には水滴が浮かび、中身もユルユルでした。 早く提供できるものから順番前後させて提供したり、商品が冷めたり溶けたりしないように声掛けして早く提供出来るように、改善して欲しいです。 バイトさんの顔も覚えたので、夜は行くの止めます。 昼のスタッフさんには星...
