Oink Means I love You In Piggy Speak

Today I visited the Pignic Cafe in Akiruno. There was some difficulty getting there. There is a turnoff to a very narrow winding road which is not well identified. When arriving, the parking lot has only three small spaces. The place is not the sprawling farm that I had anticipated. I overcame these obstacles to find that the one staff member on duty was friendly and helpful. I joined the cute little residents for a delightful and amusing time. The attendant had given me a stool and small blanket to cover my clothing somewhat. The little fellows swarmed around me and on me enjoying the attention and affection. Frankly I did too. They were charming and fun. WARNING! They may nibble at the blanket covering your legs, also your pantlegs and waist tie string. You could even go home with snout snot on...

I had the impression that confections were sold separately from the pig experience. I just wanted to buy a coffee or something. I didn't think it was worth it, considering I would have to share that time with another group that had just gone in before me. I decided to leave. I might go back one day. Hinohara is a beautiful place to visit -- even with the bear...

Pignic was an absolute delight! The star attraction—adorable baby pigs—stole our hearts with their playful antics and snuggly charm. Feeding them was a highlight, offering a hands-on experience that left us grinning ear to ear. The staff was fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable, and eager to share fun facts about pigs, making the visit both educational and entertaining. Their enthusiasm and care for the animals shone through, enhancing the whole experience. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect outing for animal lovers of all ages. We can’t wait to return for more piggy cuddles and...
