らーめん極 本店 — Restaurant in Tomakomai

This inconspicuously located ramen shop along Highway No. 36 is so obscure that it's easy to drive past it without casting a second glance. I admit, I have done that myself, even though I was in a bus instead of a car. Buoyed by the excellent reviews I have read about its thick soup base - my personal preference for ramen - I went for the spicy miso ramen recommended by the reviews before this. On hindsight, I must admit, I made the wrong choice - because the soup was so spicy that the spiciness overwhelmed and perhaps buried the flavours of the soup. If I were to make a second visit, I may opt for just miso or shoyu instead - but that's a BIG if. Because while I agree with other reviews that the ramen is tasty, it's perhaps not enough to make me come...

店主とバイトの対応が最悪でした！もう二度と行きません。 子供が餃子を食べたいと言い、券売機で購入しましたが、注文時に「やっぱりいらない」と言い出しました。なので、取り消しできないかバイトに言いましたが、「券売機に返金できないって書いてありますよね！」と言い放つ。後で券売機を見ると、確かに書いてありましたが、小さい子供と一緒に注文したため、全く気づきませんでした。

そのことを店主のところまで行って、事情を話すも「税務署に返金はダメって言われてるんです」と、店主の都合を押し付けられました。

店主も威圧的で、バイトも言い放つ態度に、怒りがこみ上げるのを抑えられませんでした。そして、強く言うとしぶしぶ返金。

味はおいしく何度も行くほど大好きなラーメンだっただけに、もうここのラーメンを食べれなくなるのは、本当に残念。でも、本当に店主の顔を見たくないほど、人生の中で非常に嫌な思い出として残りました。
