Local diner with lots of local people. Only Japanese menu on the wall or the menu with photos(still only in Japanese) Originally a tofu shop so any tofu dishes are great. Tofu-nbusaa, is the signature dish, lots of soft tofu and tender stewed pork on top. Only five or six parking spaces for small K-cars. Cash only. As the name suggests, I looked for a seafood but none. It's a tofu and pork place!

Our first meal in Okinawa after we have landed, since it was near to the Naha airport. It was manned by a few elderly ladies who were very nice despite the language barrier. They served simple local dishes, taste was wonderful and hearty to a full stomach. Worth a visit.

昔からお世話になっています。老舗で値段の割にご飯やオカズの量も多くて最高です。良く食べるのは、豆腐ンブサーですが豆腐も自家製でお土産に豆冨だけ買って持ち帰ります。豆腐の上に乗せてる豚肉のスーチカーもとても美味しいです。昔からの沖縄料理の豆腐ンブサーを食べれるのは、この海洋食堂だけなので、これからもお店が続く事を願います。これからもお世話になります。よろしくお願いします。 I've been coming here for a long time. It's a long-established restaurant, and the portions of rice and side dishes are generous for the price, so it's great. I often eat tofu mbusa, but the tofu is homemade, so I often buy just the tofu to take home as a souvenir. The pork suchika on top of the tofu is also very delicious. Kaiyo Shokudo is the only place where you can eat the traditional Okinawan dish of tofu mbusa, so I hope the restaurant will continue to exist. I'll be indebted to you in the future. Thank you.

The meats were well cooked. The only flaw was the amount. I was so full that nearly couldn’t walk out the restaurant. It seems like there’s only set menu. It will be better if I can only order the dish (without the rice and noodles).

駐車場は、店前6台店右横3台だがテーゲーなので実際には停められない場合アリ。道向かい30m北の未舗装地にも4台あります。玄関前にスロープがあるので年配も入りやすい。 13時頃並ばず入店、次から次に客がやってくるので運が良かった模様。テーブル6卓、小上がり4卓。メニューは料金改定した新しい物で、豆腐が有名な店なのですが妻が「ゆしどうふ」を注文したので少しお裾分けしてもらうつもりで中味そば(720円)を注文。厨房から中華鍋で炒めている音がして？やってきました。 中味は市販かな？キャベツと塩コショウで炒めてそばに載せてあります。割り箸です。スープも塩コショウの味が濃くなっていまい、そばも普通の中麺です。思ったよりボリュームあり満腹になります。小鉢のオカラもパサパサ感無く豆腐の甘みがありました。妻の「ゆしどうふ」をスプーン!!で1口貰い、出来立てでほぼ固まっていない豆腐で、ほんのり甘くて美味しかった。次は豆腐系にします。 味の好みは自分には普通(星3)なのですが、割り箸がメッシュサポート支援だったり、食後爪楊枝を探してキョロキョロしていたらピンときたのか気が利くネェネェが持ってきてくれました。それとテーブルに七味の瓶が多いと思って見てみたら一本は島トウガラシでした。次々入ってくる常連さんはメニュー見ず席に着く前に注文しています。地元に愛されている地元の食堂です。

【2023/06】 うーん、豆腐屋が出しているお店だけに豆腐料理は美味しいけど、豆腐の関係しないメニュー特にそば関連メニューは個人的に★２レベルかなー。野菜そばには心底がっかりした。そば関連は別のお店に行った方がマシなレベル、本当に。 【2020】 大手テレビ番組で数回紹介されここ数年で有名になったお店。昔から地元の知る人ぞ知る、というお店ではあったが、全国に知られるようになった。 元々、豆腐屋だったって事で、豆腐チャンプルーやゆし豆腐そばなどの豆腐料理を中心に定評がある食堂。 ただ、有名になり過ぎてお昼時は、店の外に十分以上並ばないといけない事もしばしば。そのくせ、この前かなり久しぶりに食べに行くと、値上がりしてるわ、量はかなり減ってるわ。で、げんなり・・・😰味は何とか据え置きなので、美味いことは美味い。 けど、もう足は向いづらいなー。というのが、正直なところ。なので、★２つ。 ただ、観光で一度は沖縄の豆腐が美味しい食堂に行ってみたい、って人にはオススメ。味は変わらず美味いので。 ここまでなら星３つかな？と思いましたが、厨房のおばちゃんは人と目があって注文言ってもガン無視決め込むので、そこはとても残念でならないので星１つとします。それが一度や二度ではないので、偶然とかタイミングの問題ではないことは確定です。 本当に残念です・・・・・。
