台湾料理 豊源 清水店 — Restaurant in Tosashimizu

Walked in as a pilgrim because I saw they stated Taiwanese cuisine from the outside and on google map, and I miss my chinese food from Singapore - my staple rice and noodles, they are different from Japanese version. After seated and while thinking what to eat, i overheard the staff told the chef in the kitchen in chinese mandarin, which is different from taiwanese mandarin. So i thought okay it is not authentic taiwanese food but more of serving chinese food. But that is fine, they are still food for the soul. 😊 i asked the staff can i order in mandarin, she was kinda little surprised, and took my order - a fried rice and another so called sliced noodle 刀削麵. So apparently for the sliced noodle, if you are a Singaporean and you know "ho fun" 河粉, the vegetables and ingredients are cooked with the thicker gravy kind, then they put into a ramen soup base. 刀削麺セット　1300円 刀削麺4種類と炒飯4種類ぐらいから選べるセット。 人生初の刀削麺でしたが、ほうとう・平打ちうどんに近い感じ。もう1回食べたいかと言われたら遠慮するが、一度は食べてみることをオススメする。 五目刀削麺にしたが、五目あんかけの味付けが良い。美味。 セットの高菜炒飯は塩こぼしたぐらい塩味強かった。
