獅子道らーめん — Restaurant in Toyonaka

This place has tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen, which is my favorite. However, this place is a bit different, in that their broth is made from only pork bone (most include a number of other ingredients and vegetables for flavoring), making the soup very thick and creamy, almost like a gravy. Very rich, it may be too much for some people, but I loved it.

The chashew is also great, full of flavor and it melts in your mouth without being too greasy (though given the broth, it might be difficult for it to be too greasy).

You also can choose from two kinds of noodles and select the firmness of those noodles, which for a first time person may be a bit too much choice, but the staff are ready to give recommendations.

It also has your fairly standard ramen shop side dishes, which are pretty good for the most part. The karage (fried chicken) wasn't the best I had, but that's more due to the...

美味しかった。 東京から越してきて旨い家系ラーメンに飢えていたと私。豚骨ラーメンの店だと思ってノーチェックだったが、帰り道にふとメニューを見ると「鳥豚骨ラーメン」の文字が。。これは、いわゆる家系では？と思い入店。 流石は豚骨ラーメンのお店。濃厚な豚骨とバランス良く鶏油が合わさって、かなりハイレベルな家系になっていた。

例えるならば武道家の様な粘度の高い濃厚なスープでありながら、しょっぱ過ぎない味付けで個人的には武道家より好きだと感じた。 ほんの僅かに豚骨の臭みを感じるレベルでちょうど良かった。

チャーシューは他の家系ではまず無い角煮の厚さの様で、脂身、海苔、ほうれん草、ニンニクを頬張ると口の中が幸せ状態でした。

カッパは無いけど高菜との相性もまたオツなもので、これはありがたい発見でした。

次は白飯と一緒に頼もう。三回目くらいには豚骨も食べてみよう。

ただ、一点だけ、紅生姜の補充が間に合っておらず、干からび気味なタッパーがあり星-1。
