Karin Coffee - Senri-chuo — Restaurant in Toyonaka

An old-school cafe near the Osaka Monorail Senri-chuo station. It is inside a building and there are no signs outside. The place inside is like a time capsule, we have old ladies still serving guests and the scene is rustic even with the seats and the table sugar. They have daily recommendations on which beans are good for that day, and with appropriate discount too. I got that and their apple pie. While I must say that the pie presentation and depth was lacking to me, the coffee is the direct inverse. The coffee was served in a teacup set that is probably older than me and the matching cutlery added to the experience. They also sell coffee beans and some cakes on the cashier area if you want something for takeout. OMG! Didn't expect to be that good. But it is so good, and beyond my expectations.

I recommend to order uina or Wina coffee from the menu, it's displayed on the menu book. It's so good the cream is soft and tender. The sweetness is just right for me, and the coffee sourness too.

For cake, I haven't order all, but the strawberry cake was so good, looking to order the almond cake next time.

修正します。 ホールスタッフの対応が、あり得ませんでした。 プリンケーキを頼んだら、ジャケットに思いっきり蜜を落とされ、しかも、ご自身も蜜だらけ。でも、たまには、そんなことケアレスミスもあると思います。が、指摘したら、「すいませんねぇ」と。 すいませんねぇと何回か言われたので、余計腹立たしいため無視して、苛立ちを露にしたら、「申し訳ございません」と。 すいませんねぇ　と　申し訳ございません　の違いわかってて、意図的だったようです。 その後、お絞り取りに行ったら、台拭き？でジャケットをベトーーーと広範囲を一気に拭かれ、ビックリして「(蜜が)伸びるから拭かないで！」と言ってしまうほど。さらに、そのスタッフの制服のエプロンも蜜だらけで、狭い店内はのでそれで歩いたら、他のお客様の持ち物を汚す可能性高いし、それで服を触らんといて欲しくて指摘したら「後で拭きます」と。エプロンとればいいのに、またビックリ。 ちなみに、スタッフはマダムな年齢でした。その上、飲食店勤務なのに、食べ物がついた服の拭き方も知らず、謝罪もすいませんねぇw 色々と唖然。 「すいませんねぇ。何かあればおっしゃって下さい」と何度も言われましたが、「すいませんねぇ」は謝罪ではないと、その指摘せなあかんのかと怒りしかなかったです。 この後、プリンを持ってきた時も、蜜が溢れたままのものをもってきたので、お皿がベトベト。他のスタッフも、対応を指摘してフォローすることもなく、全員知らんぷりだったので、この店ではこの対応が正しい対応のようです。 なので、来店の際はリスクがあるので、汚れてもいい服か、この対応に疑問のない方はいいと思います。 結局、お絞りで10本位で拭きまくって、湿ったジャケット羽織って帰りました。が、違うところにも蜜がついてて…悲惨でした。 ーーーーーーーーーー 純喫茶な感じのお店です。 千里中央に行くと必ず寄ります。 店員さんは、キッチンはわかりませんが、ホールは皆さんマダムで頑張っておられます。 こそは個人的には、カスタードプリンがオススメで、私はケーキ等はほぼ食べないんですが、ここのは好きで好んで食べます。 珈琲に詳しくはないですが、ブレンドはブラックで頂けるちょうど良い苦味で、酸味はあまり...
