It's a recently opened cafe on top. I visited because I was not carrying cash and the only shop accepts digital payment. Food is limited to coffee and waffles but they are very tasty.

A lovely and surprising cafe at the top of Mt Tsukuba - excellent oat milk caramel latte and a delicious sakura waffle! Some really cute merchandise too.

ケーブルカー降りてすぐ目の前 絶景のカウンターに座ればもう長居してしまいます〜 平日の14時頃行って1組入ってた程度で空いてました。 時間を忘れさせる空間で、ずーっと景色をボーッと見ていられます。 もはや住んでしまいたいくらい。 窓から入る風も気持ちよくてホワホワしちゃいます〜 追記 気に入ったので10月の祝日もう一度行きました。 今回は祝日だった為、かなり混雑していました。 前回は男性スタッフがワンオペでしたが、今回は4~5人スタッフがいて、その中でも年配女性スタッフが気になりました。 店内はお客さんの話声というよりその女性スタッフの声がかなり大きくて、正直耳が痛かったです。 おもてなしというより、余計なお世話、お節介な感じがして、おもてなしという行動を間違っています。 カフェに一緒に行った家族も、ちょっとイラッとしちゃうと言ってました。 せっかくいいカフェで落ち着けるのに、その人が気になって気になって仕方なかったです。
