Great place in Tsukuba! The Bakery is really awesome with great and tasty products. Tha cafe part it's beautiful with an English pub kind of atmosphere. It's almost a "The Beatles" themed place since the decorations, names of some drinks and music are always theirs. You can purchase the band original merchandise too. The most incredible part it's that you can go with your pet! I would really appreciate if the staff -which is very kind- would be faster and pay more attention. I waited for 40 minutes to get a table even when there were tables available and when I make the order, I waited for another 20 minutes. Such a fun place to eat. It has a little bit of everything! It has a dog park and cafe where you can bring your own dog and have fun. It has a huge bar with a wide variety of spirits and beers. It has a bakery with loads of fresh treats. And all that is combined with a fun, beatles themed restaurant. The bread boles are amazing and absolutely stuffed with sauce or stew. まず結論から申し上げます。 店員の接客は最悪です。 開店当初に比べて地に落ちました。

土曜日でしたが、昼下がりのためか、待たずに入れました。 食事やデザートの質は変わらず美味しいです。 物価の高騰もあり、多少値段は上がりました。ただ、接客の質は確実に下がりました。 スタッフの笑顔は少なくなり、席に座るなり、メニューも見ていないうちから 「お食事ですか？デザートのみですか？」 と聞かれます。 「一応、食事に来たつもりですが…」 と答えたら、 「小学生以上のお子様にも1人必ず一品頼んで下さい。」 と言ってきます。 注文に関しては細かい説明はなく、タッチパネルでやれと言う。 セットドリンクの注文の仕方を間違えたら、 「これ、間違ってるんですけど。」 と訝しげに注意してくる。 ここでもう気分が下がりました。

勿論音楽は周りのお喋りで聴こえず、テラス席に至っては、昔と違い音楽も流れておりせんでした。

テーブルバッシングに関しては最低です。 接客態度の悪さに、隣の席のテーブルバッシングを気になって見ていたら、テーブル上の食べカスを布巾で拭きながら床に落として終了。結局拾わずそのまま次の客を案内している姿に、思わず自席の下の床も気になりました。

ガタついたテーブルにコースターを咬ませていたり、修繕にも気を遣われていないご様子。 次の機会には別の何かで修繕されている事を祈るばかりです。

子連れに対して 「金だけは落としてゆけ」 と言う前に、子供にも大人にも通じる 「この店はBeatlesの音楽をコンセプトとしたお店です。ランチ時間は音楽を愉しむお客様の為にも会話はお静かにお願いします」 と掲げるのも客層を選ぶ一つの手なのでは？ 昔からそうだが、デザートとおかわりコーヒーで世間話に花を咲かせる五月蝿いマダム達の方が問題だと思う。

食事の量もひとつひとつがパーティーでもするのかと思うくらい多くて、食べ切れず沢山残してゆく人が多い。 見ていて気分は良くありません。 つくば市ゆえ、体格の大きな欧米人の方が客層として多いのなら、同額でもいいから量を選ばせて欲しい。 フードロスなどのSDGsの意識も感じられません。

店の雰囲気とは、音楽や建物、食べ物だけでは創られません。いくらイートインとはいえ、コンセプトカフェ＆レストランですから、そこにいるスタッフの気遣いはとても大事です。
