A lovely surprise to find this place open for a late dinner on a road trip. The owner/chef was so friendly and brought us out free homemade pickles as well as free basmati rice to try. My son and I had just had Indian food a couple weeks earlier in Takasaki (it is a relatively rare treat for us because there is nothing local in our town), and he said, “This is even better!” I thought the food was decent, but the hospitality was excellent.
