Nope, this place is way too hyped up for the food you’re getting. The food is not bad, but none of the dishes we ate was anything that would make us want to come back.
I find this place having many patrons from the base because they are friendly to Americans. They have English menus, and the servers talk to you in English.
Some of the dishes were overpriced for the portion and the quality. Each dish, when converted into USD, is cheap, and it is probably better than most of the terrible and overpriced food we get on the base and the stateside. But we are in Japan, and there are so many other restaurants that serve better food with similar prices here. This place is not worth paying money. I’d rather pay more and get better quality food elsewhere.
We ordered deep fried shrimp with chili Mayo sauce, another fried shrimp with garlic cheese, garlic chicken, spicy fried chicken, tomato salad, tuna and avocado salad, garlic pizza, fried garlic, kimchi fried rice, and seafood pasta.
Cooked dishes in general tasted like they just put together frozen items and poured a store-bought sauce on them.
Deep fried shrimp dishes were so disappointing. We got about 8-9 pieces of small shrimp. These dishes should be priced at 500 yen, not 800 yen. Other dishes were also just… “meh”. Again, their food is not bad, but not good either.
I also don’t think well of restaurants that primarily uses iceberg lettuce for their salad, as it was the case with the tomato salad (and seafood salad as shown in other reviewer’s photos). It doesn’t look appealing nor does it taste like a salad worth paying money. These kind of restaurants are usually sub-par in general.

Read moreRelaxed atmosphere, incredible staff, super friendly, super fast, very sociable, and helpful with everything! Each item we tried on the menu was superb! The garlic mushroom dish was an amazing starter dish, the chicken and pork dishes with the crunch skin was succulent and crispy! The bacon asparagus garlic dish had a lemon zest garlic taste and was refreshing!!! The chicken mince meat dumplings were tasty and pair wonderfully with a sauce! The fried rice was delightful and the overall experience was fantastic to wrap up a day of being outside. The drinks were refreshing, too! Love this place and the prices are very good! My wife and I ate so much and we didn’t leave much to clean off of the plates! 10/10...
Read moreThis was quite a fun experience. To start, the parking situation really is as scary as the other posts mentioned, but don't let it scare you away completely! We showed up shortly after opening and squeezed into a spot. We were immediately greeted and seated.
The restaurant is family style! We ordered beef & broccoli, fried shrimp, baked fish, roasted garlic, stir fried octopus, and kimchi pork (for just two people). Hands down, we both agreed, the beef & broccoli was the best! The baked fish was tender and delicious. The octopus was perfectly cooked and paired well with the asparagus. Garlic in everything! The thing about it is that the garlic flavor is very subtle! It's weird. I expected a bit more of a...
