ブルーシールカフェ 牧港 (Blue Seal Makiminato Honten)
Blue Seal Makiminato Honten is a must-visit if you’re in Okinawa! The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming, with retro American vibes that perfectly complement the Okinawan touch.
The ice cream is phenomenal—so many unique flavors to choose from! I highly recommend the Okinawan specialty flavors like beni imo (purple sweet potato) and salted chinsuko. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the seating area is cozy and spacious, making it a great place to relax with friends or family. Parking is convenient, too.

You cannot miss the iconic ice cream neon sign when you drive by 58 going to Naha. The place has the modern diner feel and the second floor has a small museum on the company’s history. We came in past 2000 so the crowd was at a minimum. The 2 register were open so the waiting time was low. I usually order the Shikwasa flavor sherbet, Okinawa Salt cream and the kids are the ube and whatever is the monthly special. Will...
