Fuun — Restaurant in Urasoe

Normally a strong owner/staff personality works to a restaurant's advantage, even helping push a review from 4 to 5 stars. But today, here, the proprietor was so rude and off-putting that I turned on my heels and walked out all within 30 seconds of getting not even 2 meters in the doorway. The other reviewers' mentioning of his being rude are spot-on. I have a proven track record for eating at and for giving good reviews to ramen joints, so this took me by surprise for a story which is too long to type here (over parking, which I know how to do legally for places with no spots and have been doing for 2 decades now). I regret that I wasted 30 min killing time for them to open and that I could not taste the food. 6/2025 No customers there a little before noon. 3 parking spaces. Choose from counter, table/chairs, zashiki seating. Ramen 700 yen?! どストレートな博多ラーメン。 食べログで高評価だったので探して行ってみた。 浦添市民や近辺に住む那覇市民であれば分かるのかも知れないが、あの辺りの那覇と浦添の境目みたいな場所の道の入り組み具合は、本当に難しい。 国道から入るのにも一苦労した。 お店は住宅街の中にポツンとある。 近づくと車内からもほんのりと豚骨の香りが（した気がする） 県営（市営？）団地入口のすぐ横にあるので、そこに違法駐車する輩が多くてお店側もピリピリしてるのだと思う。 確かに、あの辺りは車を停める場所がない。 一応、近くのダンパチヤー（かみきりやさん）が入っているアパートの裏に、5台停められる駐車場があるが、お店が人気でなかなか空かない。何なら、駐車場内で車内でのウェイティングがいる。 タイミングが悪いとなかなか停められない。 もっと駐車場増えたら良いのになーとは思わされた。

小さなお店だが、小綺麗。

さて味の方だが、少しさっぱりめではあるが、ザ・博多ラーメンである。本物の味。臭みは少ない。

自分は内地の各地を転々として帰って来たクチだが、沖縄は何だかんだ九州文化の影響を受けている。位置的に仕方ないが。（特に甘すぎる鹿児島の醤油や麺つゆに定番を乗っ取られてなくて良かった…と思っていたらBig1で唐船峡が積まれていたけれど。）だからラーメンも博多ラーメン的な豚骨に覇権を握られていたとしても仕方なかったかもだが、そうはなっていないのが嬉しいし面白い。 そんな中でのこのお店である。 一蘭や一風堂も出店して来ている中で、単独でこの味を出し、人気を博しているのはすごい。

メニュー冊子はない。壁に貼られているのみ。聞くと女性店員に無言で指さされた。 生卵と辛子高菜はセルフだが有料（各50円）。お冷もセルフ。オシボリ・ペーパーもなし。（セルフエリアにティシューの箱がある） 麺の硬さは自分から言わないと聞かれない。デフォルトが硬めなので別に良かったが。

私は明太子ごはんのついたセットにしたが、800円であった。気持ち、50円ほど高いイメージ。 替え玉は100円だそう。まあ妥当か。麺の量はそれほど少なくなかったし。

結論としては ・味は美味しい。多分福岡の人が食べても納得すると思う。 ・値段はちょい高め。このご時世仕方ないとはいえ、高菜や生卵が有料化してるのは痛い。 ・駐車場分かりにくい。初見殺し。停められる台数少ない。 ・接客レベルは高くない。素人目に見ても抜け目がある。

また行くかと聞かれたら… ラーメンがあの味オンリーだけなのであれば、よっぽど...
