La・Miroir — Restaurant in Urasoe

My wife and I went here spontaneously for lunch, no reservation. Reception welcomed us quickly and gave us a private table. Understand that this restaurant does a course menu. Meaning you don’t choose a main dish and call it a day, you choose from a few different priced courses. My wife and I chose the course that came with fish and steak as well as soup palate cleanser and dessert. The course was amazing! Truly French cuisine with some Japanese influence. The chefs even came to our table to explain everything and showed their passion in their cooking. I would go again! I don’t really eat vegetables but the chef said he would not be offended if I didn’t eat them but asked if he could at least plate the dish with the vegetables for the look. My wife ate my vegetables for me haha. They had a large selection of wines that I did not get to partake in but will next time. I’m excited to try their dinner course next!

Highly recommend coming here if you get the chance. Only downside- parking can be difficult to get into, but they do have a few spaces...

Wow. Quite an experience. We observed that there was no English menu, and the waitress took this as some kind of insult. It was downhill from there. She accused us of harassing her. We got up and left, and she chased us into the street to yell at us some more. She threatened to call the police. The owner tried (unsuccessfully to calm her down). There’s something seriously wrong with the woman. Don’t go there unless you enjoy interacting with...

(長文になります)誕生日のお祝いのため、ランチの時間帯に3500円くらいのコースを予約して利用させていただきました。

まず、テーブルに日付と名前が書かれた紙があったのですが名前の漢字が違いました。(電話で上手く伝わっていなかったのかなと最初は特に気にしてなかったのですが...)

次に、予約して行ったにもかかわらず今日はパンがありませんとのこと。

デザートではチョコレートで書いた名前入りのメッセージプレートを持ってきていただいたのですが、持ってきてもらった時点でドロドロに溶けていました。(あんなプレートは初めて見ました。写真撮っておけば良かったです) 彼と２人で「これ何て書いてある？(苦笑い)」と、しばらく考えHappy Birthday...
