Kameya — Restaurant in Uruma

Not sure why all the recent bad reviews about slow service, but they do get busy at times. Easy enough to get your name on the list and sit in the chairs right outside the door. Service is no frills but friendly, and they have english menus as well.

The Tomato ramen and pork fried rice are simply the best. Creamy and rich broth, with good tomato flavor. I find fried rice at ramen places typically too bland. This pork fried rice is seasoned just right, and you get a large portion. There's also a version without pork. The star of the show is definitely the Char Sui though. It is thick cut and meaty with a slightly sweet taste from the marinade, and the outer edges are charred to perfection - delicious. So good you'll want to add extra pieces to your ramen. Gyoza were only ok. Nothing special about them, although they do offer a free order if you check-in...

Rich flavors, quality ingredients, excellent portions, & great prices! Miso ramen and fried rice set was delicious. Don’t forget to add your boiled egg, corn, & butter toppings to set it off! 😋 Gyoza was tender and flavorful w/ a nice crispy bottom.
