⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had lunch at Ramen Maruyoshi, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the staff and the owner, who made me feel like a valued guest.
I ordered the Spicy Ramen Special with extra pork and a side of gyoza. The Spicy Ramen was a symphony of flavors. The broth was rich and perfectly balanced, with a deep, savory taste that had just the right amount of heat. Each spoonful was a delight, with the spiciness building gradually without overpowering the other flavors. The noodles were cooked to perfection, maintaining a perfect bite that complemented the broth beautifully. The chef likes to experiment with different spices, and I think he’s onto something here!
The pork was a the thickest pork in ramen I’ve had on island so far. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, it added a luxurious touch to the already exquisite dish. The combination of the spicy broth and the succulent pork was nothing short of heavenly.
The gyoza was equally impressive. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they were filled with a savory mixture that was both flavorful and comforting. The dipping sauce (vinegar) provided the perfect tangy contrast, enhancing the taste without overwhelming the delicate balance of flavors inside the gyoza.
Ramen Maruyoshi is a must-visit for any ramen enthusiast. The exceptional food, combined with the friendly service, makes it a standout shop. I can't wait to return and explore more...
Read moreGreat local ramen! Found this place just as I’m leaving oki and pretty bummed about it. It’s fantastic salt ramen. I order the second option, ramen special with extra garlic. The broth is very flavorful and just hits you with the notes usually subtle in most broths: chicken, garlic, pepper, onion and a general umami. All of the components are well done. The shoots are cut the same width as the noodles so as opposed to being a separate bite you get noodle like stands with each one. The meat is super soft and they have a deli slicer to ensure it’s nice and thin, plenty of it though. The cool and server were very friendly and it’s a cool local ramen hole vibe. Only downside is they’re only open during lunch hours. Worth a trip if you love ramen. There’s some good ramen in the area but I think I liked this the best, even though I prefer a different style, it’s just done...
Read moreThis place is so good! Yen only. We have ate here several times. Spicy dipping noodles aren’t too spicy (maybe a 2/10) and taste amazing! Regular ramen broth is among the best I have had. It is not thick broth. And lastly the amazing dumplings! I love them better than anywhere else. Very crispy on one side with good taste filling. These are what gyoza 🥟 should be. No English menu but owner/cook will translate at machine for you. About 15 minutes away from Camp Courtney and highly...
