Been coming here for over 20 years, the owners have changed quite a few times. But the food is always fresh and surprisingly much like mainland Japan Izakayas. I just recently started getting serious about reviews as I have a large social media following, and I want to inform my friends of the great places we go to and also the places to be careful of. The atmosphere here is relaxing, even with children, I think the parents know when they come here, they should respect other guests and bring only well mannered children. My work schedule keeps me busy and I live a little far, when in I town, will definitely becoming again 💯💪🔥 Also there is no music, so even the foreigners speak softly, nice quiet and relaxing. I am adding to my review as I ordered sushi 🍣, and all though the seafood is very fresh, evidently, not many order sushi, so you can tell the rice has been put away and then thawed or something. The rice was just not what you wanted in sushi. That was my big disappointment-2⭐️ It just felt like wax rice😑 An Izakaya is supposed have pride in the sushi and sashimi that is served above all...

Very stylish restaurant Friendly owners. I felt very welcome Delicious food. We got assorted nigiri and kimchi eel sushi. Both very good. The preparation was beautiful and made the evening special. The kimchi eel sushi was very flavorful. You could taste the seasonings used to cook the eel as well as the flavor in the sushi roll. We left very happy and look forward to coming back.
