Yakiniku Goen Okinawa Uruma — Restaurant in Uruma

I have visited Yakiniku Goen several times (in Nago, Chatan, and Yomitan), and this was my second time in Uruma. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service this time. 😖

I came on Sunday around 5:30 PM. At first, in the first 30 minutes, the food we ordered arrived quickly. However, the grill at our table turned off by itself twice. I tried to stay patient and thought it was still okay. 🙂‍↕️

But after that, we had to wait for our meat order for almost an hour, and during that time the grill turned off again. We called the staff to replace it, but the response was very slow. When the meat finally arrived after a long wait, two of the meat items we had ordered earlier were still missing.😭

This made me very disappointed, as a day that should have been enjoyable for me and my husband turned into a frustrating experience, wasting much of our time there. 😩

Normally, staff at Yakiniku Goen clear used plates promptly, but this time they just passed by several times without taking them.🏃🏻‍♀️

If there are issues with staff performance, I hope proper training will be provided. And if the meat stock is running low, it would be better to inform customers in advance rather than keeping them waiting. 😤

The only positive point I would like to mention is the male staff member wearing a mask who tried to speak in a foreign language—he was attentive, skilled, and deserves...

The service was exceptional—the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with recommendations or grilling tips. Their professionalism and friendliness made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

As for the food, it was simply top-tier. The meats were high-quality, fresh, and perfectly marbled, making every bite tender and flavorful. The side dishes complemented the BBQ perfectly, and everything was cooked to perfection right at the table.

The restaurant was immaculately clean, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Service was prompt, ensuring we never had to wait long for anything. And the prices? Very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered.

At the moment, this restaurant is my favorite of it's genre. The selection it meats, veggies, and the side menu, makes it so. Everything I've had, so far, had been fresh. I've had no issues with the staff. If I had to say anything about the staff, it would be they are too diligent. They will come to your table about every 5 minutes to collect trays. . . Seriously, every 10 minutes would suffice.

Anyway, the drink bar and dessert menu also has some of my favorites. I, especially, like the mango flavored roll cake.

I would honestly go everyday if my metabolism...
